Kia Ora Emily,
ReplyDeleteYusra Mardini is a hero for a lot of people and you have summed up why incredibly well. It’s so cool that she gets to represent the refugee community in Olympic games and was able to help so many people by using her skills in such a dire circumstance. Your post really recognises her merits, well done.
I’m wasn’t a big fan of swimming when I was a kid, but that could be because I didn’t learn until I was about 11. Now I know how to I enjoy it a bit more though I prefer pools and creeks to the ocean. Where is your favourite place to swim?
Hei konā mai,
