Dear Jacinda
Dear Jacinda Ardern ,
I think lunch break should be shorter and morning tea should be longer because at morning tea time
we never get to play anything at school I think lunch is too long because me and my friends always get bored .
I think instead of giving people a fine for littering, give them a punishment of making them pick up 100 pieces of rubbish and instead of making people clean up plastics and ban making plastics.

Kia Ora Emily,
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing letter to Jacinda Ardern. You’ve definitely made some excellent points and recommendations for change.
Can I ask how long your morning tea and lunches are? When I went to high school we had 40 minutes for each. I would have preferred a slightly shorter morning tea in favour of a bigger lunch, what’s your preference?
I also really like your suggestion about rubbish as well as the image you included. It’s a great idea to make litterers pick up rubbish to teach them why it’s not ok. Banning plastic is also a brilliant suggestion and definitely falls into the type of thing Prime Minister Ardern is looking at achieving for New Zealand.
Well done with all your great recommendations. Keep up the hard work!
Hei konā mai,
Shannon (SLJ)
