Nelson Mandela
Nelson was the president of Africa 25 years ago, he was in prison for 27 years for speaking out against the white south Africans. He did not agree with Apartheid and i don't either Apartheid is when black and whites were separated now they are not separated anymore which is good. have you been to Africa? and do you want to go why/why not?

Wow Emily, you’ve summed up Nelson Mandela’s life beautifully. What a great profile page. I particularly like how you used the term apartheid and included a definition in case your readers didn’t know what the word meant. What a cool thing to do to help engage with your readers!
ReplyDeleteI haven’t ever been to Africa but it’s on my bucket list of places I want to go. It has such an amazing culture and wildlife. I’d love to see a lion. Would you like to go there? What would you like to see there?
Can you tell me any other cool facts about Nelson Mandela?
Hei konā mai,
