Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks grew up in Alabama, America, and when she was little her family told her about black people were slaves soon that stopped but they were still treated differently they could not use the same bathrooms as whites drinking fountains or schools then when she was older she was catching a bus home and the bus driver said please get of the bus so a white man could sit on it she said no and then was arrested she was arrested twice for that. Then she inspired all the blacks in Alabama to do the same and then the goverment stopped it. Have you herd of her? this image is from vox.com

Hello Emily,
ReplyDeleteI am Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. I am from the Ako Hiko cluster. I really enjoyed reading this blog post! Let me explain why I like it. Firstly, you added a different image of Rosa Parks. Secondly, you talked about her back story. I feel what Rosa Parks did was great. She was the reason the government changed the laws about African Americans. Maybe next time you could focus more on the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!
Vitaraag
Kia Ora Emily,
ReplyDeleteI’m noticing a great theme of incredible female role models in your posts. It’s great you can recognise so many amazing leaders and all they have done for humanity. Rosa Parks definitely falls into this category. She stood up for what she believed in and made a great change. Do you think you could’ve done what Ms Parks did?
Don’t forget to proof-read your work and check for run on sentences. Otherwise great writing and keep up the amazing blog posts.
Hei konā mai,
