The Great Greta thunberg
Greta is a 16 year old activist and grew up in Stockholm Sweden when she was eight she first learnt about climate change. Then when she was older she sat outside Swedish paliment with a sign that read school strike for climate change. Then tens of thousands of school's took the day off school to strike for climate change because of her sign. Then 1.6 million people came together to protest because of her. Then last year she took a journey around the UK all the way to new York and talked to Donald Trump and Boris Johnson about this problem. She was nominated for the Nobel peace prize. Have you seen her on TV?

Kia Ora Emily,
ReplyDeleteGreta Thunberg is a remarkable young woman and role model. Not everyone could stand outside parliament and petition for what they believed in. It’s incredible and she’s making an amazing difference.
You’ve done a tremendous job recognising her achievements and her story. I particularly like your title too. How cool and clever is it that you have used an anagram for Greta in the word great!
Don’t forget to cite your image.
Hei konā mai,
