Cicada Cooking?

The task today was to design a cicada dish, I think the topic was very intresting, To think people eat these things is a bit strange but there are alot of different and unique meals out there! I created this cicada salad, many people who eat cicada would probably be eating it for the protein so i made it a salad for extra protein, if you were to eat it it would be very crunchy and hopefully the taste would be disgued by the lettuce.What is your favourite meal?

Todays task was to create slides about how countries celebrate new years, it was intresting to learn about them because I didn´t think there would be much of a difference, but there is a lot of difference between us and other nations. What is your favourite way to celeberate new year?

The task was to create a christmas card so I though it would be fun to create a funny one, as a late christmas card. Did you know 1.5 billion were sent in the US one year? and only 15% of cards are bought by men. The most cards sent in one year by one person is 62,824? can you beleive that?

Todays task was to draw stick figures doing activitys, I dont usually draw in stick figures but this was surpisingly a little challenging to get the positions right with the legs and arms, what is your favourite style of drawing?

At school we are learning about inspiring people, I choose one of my favourite k-pop idols from TWICE called Mina, I made this on canva and went for a scrapbook theme, I enjoyed this task because I learn about someone I wanted to learn about, I also like doing canvas, it is a great resorce for projects. At school yesterday we were learning music, we watched a video of do, re, mi from the sound of music. We learnt the hand signs for the song since it is level 2 and we can't sing, I enjoyed making a DLO on ca because it is something different to use instead of google drawing What is your favourite type of music?

At school today we created a DLO on canva about saving the Orangutans and what people are doing to save them, I enjoyed creating this DLO with Logan. I found this topic saddening and intresting, There are many ways that we can help the orangutan. What is your favourite animal in the rain forest?

At school today we created a canva about the beautitudes. I enjoyed this because it was a chance to use the DLO canva, I couldn't upload the canva so I had to take screen shots, because JPG wouldn't work. We chose the cat slides because they were adorable. How did you show kindness to a person today?

The Childrens War

At school for reading we are learning about The Childrens War, I liked this task because it was a new topic for me, I think it would be hard to be a child in those days, because you would have no freedom and have to always be careful what you said and where you went.  What is your favourite war story or War hero, and why do you like it?  WALT: reflect on Emma Twiggs key messages

This morning Emma Twigg came to school with her gold medal. She talked about her journey to get to the olympics, I found this inspiring and amazing to hear from her experiences. Her key messages were to never give up no matter what, belive in your dreams and learn from your mistakes.  If you could play an olympic sport what would that sport be?

My winter sport refelection

WALT: write a reflection about winter sport 

For winter sport we did bowls, we versed Marshlands and got 19 points, they got 31. We lost but it was still fun. My favourite part was rolling and getting in in the hoop of course.  Next time I will try to aim a bit better. I would do it again it was really enjoyable.
