Go for gold

WALT: reflect on Emma Twiggs key messages

This morning Emma Twigg came to school with her gold medal. She talked about her journey to get to the olympics, I found this inspiring and amazing to hear from her experiences. Her key messages were to never give up no matter what, belive in your dreams and learn from your mistakes.  If you could play an olympic sport what would that sport be?

  1. Aloha Emily,
I love this blog post. From all the information to the pretty layout. Did you make this on Canva? I recognised those fonts.
If I could play an Olympic sport it would be Volleyball, it looks like fun.

  2. Kia ora Emily,

Wonderful job on sharing your presentation of Emma Twigg. I am very jealous that you got to see her. I love how you have shared who she is, where she is from and her achievements. Was there anything you found interesting or inspiring?

Next time, maybe you could think about what you could add to each slide that makes it pop out. Maybe an image that relates to what you are talking about or maybe laying out your text in different formats on different slides.

If I could compete in the Olympics and were good at it, I would love to do gymnastics. How about you?
