Camp was amazing, this is my summary about camp. Do you like camp and why?
This camp was so enjoyable. It was quite the experience there was something for everyone with loads of activities. This is my recount of Food fun and friends.
I camped out a tent for two nights with the rest of my class in living springs to get a taste of the outdoors. We camped for an awesome two days. The theme was adventure based learning and of course to have fun. We did archery and went to the pool and on the trampolines while taking in the views of lyttelton we also did ABL also known as Team challenges like 100 cups in a pyramid shape. We also did ABL but in the forestlike balancing all of our team on a big platform without the platform touching the ground and Rock climbing.
I loved archery and putting the tent up with my friends but the sleep was horrendous. We could hear the tents talking all night but I loved the experience of staying in a tent even though it was very cold. I enjoyed the Farm park, we rode horses and milked a cow as well as go on a tractor ride around the farm park we feed some of the animals with some pellets we got (Boy they were Feisty) It was an amazing experience.
I loved going to the pool and doing dive bombs it was amazing the food was very yummy too especially
The burgers with chips even though the butter chicken with rice and naan bread plus the nacos the food was amazing I also loved the fire pit even though we couldn't have a camp fire due to the fire ban, we could still hang out there.
I want to thank the parents, teachers and living springs and Miss Daines for making this camp happen this is my highlight of the year so far. And also a big thanks too Alex our camp leader.
I learnt how to do archery and how to put up a tent, I recommend for you to come here, this taught me a lot of life skills.
