My optical illusion

WALT: do the summer learning journey

For the summer learning journey we had to make optical illusions, this was my first itempt to make one and I think it turned out pretty well, you could see it as a hole or a upside down pyramid! I really liked this task and would make a illusion happily again. My favourite part was designing one and looking at the end result. I did this on chrome canvas. Have you seen this illusion before and what can you see in it?

  1. Wow Emily, you got me thinking here. At first it was a pyramid but now all I see is a hole. It would be good to have a think about what you are learning here rather then 'do the summer learning journey' because you have used a lot of skills to make this illusion. Have a great holiday.

  2. Kia Ora Emily, Kiana-Marino here from the Summer Learning Journey.

Hika! Whoa! For someone's first attempt at this you have done an awesome job with your optical illusion. Thank you for sharing it with us on your blog. At first when i looked at it it seemed like there was a hole then i stared at it again and it felt like i was looking down at a pyramid.

Do you think this is something you would do more of in the future?

Keep up the good mahi, i look forward to seeing future blog posts from you over these summer holidays.

    Ngā mihi
