RUIN writing

 WALT: describe the ruin city

At school we saw a video called RUIN by Wes ball it was an animation about a person who seemed to be in an abandoned city covered it nature and crazy robots, he seemed to be the only one on the planet, it ended on a cliff hanger so we had to described the city. My favourite part was writing about it and getting into the zone. What is your favourite movie?

A city covered in vines, what lies in this city of secrets?

Towers of nature taking back its territory, years of plants growing.

Dairy of a lamb: Barrging in to class

WALT: write a story from another perspective

On Thursday Mr Gray brought the lambs to school they where really cute, my favourite part was when we got to look at them barring and sleeping. What is your favourite Animal and why?

Dear diary,

It was a relaxing morning at the farm, I was out in the field when suddenly I sensed something was wrong, I could tell because the family looking after me was talking around me, then disaster struck when two enormous hands picked me up and I struggled and struggled hoping I would be set free but the hands only gripped me tighter. Then I was put in a large metal object, A vacuum cleaner? A rubbish bin? A robot? What was it?. Suddenly I was taken to a prison? A camp? So many things I am unsure about.

When I entered there were a few children and then a number started growing, where to step, where to eat, where to sleep, so many new senses. Suddenly the noise took a hike it was so loud, but it calmed down after a while and then a few girls that the farmer man called ´Charlee´ and  ´Scarlett’ took me out for a walk, They went out into the grassy paddock with me but I didn't like it so I started to lye down because I was certain I didn't want to go in.

Man this is gonna be a long day…

Ridiculous recount

WALT: write a recount on the trip into town my favourite part about this was recounting the trip.

I like recounting things because it makes you think back to that time, what was your favourite field trip?

On Thursday, with school we went for a field trip in town. The trip was spellbinding! First we went to Margaret Mahy and had some morning tea, then went off to play, I went to the big climbing net and then Anna, Holly and I went on the mini trampolines, they were embedded into the ground, I personally found it quite frightening.

It was boiling hot by the time we were walking over to the library, we were all being fried. When we got to the Turanga (the library in town) we dumped our bags on the first floor and all went off into different directions. First I went to the lookout tower, there was a room underneath it that was full of fake grass, soon my friends and I were goofing around in the little room, I also went to the Manga section and got a few shoujo manga´s out (girl power anime books).

Then we left for the gardens and did a few detours, for a pic opportunity. When we stopped at the gardens we had lunch. Here's a pic of me, Holly and Anna eating (I´m at the end on the left.)
Then we played on the climbing tree, it was really fun, here's a photo of Anna on the tree like a caterpillar!,
By this time in the day it was SOOO hot. When we entered the museum we put our bags in the locker and headed to the Moon exhibit. We had a look around then a lady came and we went to the máori area and played some máori games.
Then, we went to the staff room. We played some games, some were board games and some traditional games.

Finally we went on the bus and then back to school. It was a really good trip! I am thankful.
