Cicada Cooking?

 WALT: create a cicada dish for the summer learning journey 

The task today was to design a cicada dish, I think the topic was very intresting, To think people eat these things is a bit strange but there are alot of different and unique meals out there! I created this cicada salad, many people who eat cicada would probably be eating it for the protein so i made it a salad for extra protein, if you were to eat it it would be very crunchy and hopefully the taste would be disgued by the lettuce.What is your favourite meal?

A task from the summer learning journey, to use forced perspective in photos, which means making far away object look closer, or making small objects look bigger with disctance and angle. My family and I took these photos at Westport beach. What is your favourite beach?

Todays task was to create slides about how countries celebrate new years, it was intresting to learn about them because I didn´t think there would be much of a difference, but there is a lot of difference between us and other nations. What is your favourite way to celeberate new year?

The task was to create a christmas card so I though it would be fun to create a funny one, as a late christmas card. Did you know 1.5 billion were sent in the US one year? and only 15% of cards are bought by men. The most cards sent in one year by one person is 62,824? can you beleive that?

Todays task was to draw stick figures doing activitys, I dont usually draw in stick figures but this was surpisingly a little challenging to get the positions right with the legs and arms, what is your favourite style of drawing?

At school we are learning about inspiring people, I choose one of my favourite k-pop idols from TWICE called Mina, I made this on canva and went for a scrapbook theme, I enjoyed this task because I learn about someone I wanted to learn about, I also like doing canvas, it is a great resorce for projects. Music hand signs

 WALT: create a DLO about how to use the music hand signs.

At school yesterday we were learning music, we watched a video of do, re, mi from the sound of music. We learnt the hand signs for the song since it is level 2 and we can't sing, I enjoyed making a DLO on ca because it is something different to use instead of google drawing What is your favourite type of music?
