Super sundial

 WALT: create a sundial

For the summer learning journey nano girl taught us how to make a sun dial, it was easy it is an acient technology but it can tell the time and is like a clock, but you can make it in about ten minutes. you need a piece of card board, ruler, pencil and scissors. first you put glue tack in the middle of the card board then cut out 11 cm of string then put it in the glue tack and get your pencil, hold the string on the glue tack, and hold the the string on the pencil and draw a circle, then cut it out. then make a triangle with a each side 11 cm and then cut that out and stick it on the circle like this:

I hope you liked the explanation, here are some photos of me making it:

  1. Hey Emily,

Nice work on the sundial activity. The photos are great and your explanation is awesome and easy to follow too, I can see that your sundial is working perfectly.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing what you and the other students have made this summer. And It’s really interesting to learn about how people in the past did things and how their lives differed from ours. What do you think the oldest thing in your house is?

    Nice work Emily,
See you later in the comments,

    Daniel
